There are over 2 500 volumes in Mauritzberg’s library, some of which are between 200 and 400 years old. Furthermore, the library is equipped with a billiards table, the use of which is free for our guests. Birger Mörner, who lived in the manor at the beginning of the 20th century, established the library on the first floor of the main building. He was an avid reader of literature and used to invite authors such as Fröding, Strindberg and von Heidenstam to the manor. Von Heidenstam became a regular visitor and one of the rooms in the manor still carries his name. | |
