THE GOLF COURSE
Mauritzberg´s captivating and ever-changing natural setting will add its own special touch to this unique golfing experience, where every hole will provide players with a memorable experience. Set within rolling parkland and a beautiful forest, the course will also have plenty of pools and brooks. The closeness of the course to Bråviken bay will create an added seaside element to some of the holes.
The course has been built using the latest technology, paying particular attention to the species of grass, green construction, water and drainage systems, etc. This results in a course of superior quality, a long playing season, and lower operational and maintenance costs. However, the enjoyment and needs of golfers will always be our top priority.
The project includes 18 holes, a driving range, a practice putting green.
The municipality of Norrköping granted a building permit on 10 April 2002.
The course is 6,400 metres from white tees and around 5,000 metres from red tees. Because each hole has three tee areas, the tees can be arranged in many different ways, which will satisfy every playing standard: from scratch players to beginners.
